Last night, I finished a good book.
Anyone knows "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown?
Before that, I finished his "Angels and Demons." It's also a good read.
However, with "The Da Vinci Code," certain queries came up in my mind. For those of you who have read the book, I am not suddenly questioning the Bible or anything like that. I'm questioning if what the book said was true. The author specifically specified at the beginning of the book that the societies (Priory of Sion and Opus Dei) stated in the book are actually living are true. The other facts such as the Holy Grail and the fact also that the Catholic Church hid from the people some of the facts ommitted in the Bible and that they coordinated withe Priory of Sion regarding this are also true. (Sorry for the run-on sentence.) The Holy Grail as mentioned in the book (and in some of my researches as well) is Mary Magdalene. It mentioned something about the "sacred feminine" because of her being the "bearer" of "Jesus' bloodline."
Now, I'm questioning if what they said are true. I know everything said in the book is only fiction. But doesn't ficion always have a basis that is factual?
I did some research on the net and read some other books as well about the abovementioned things. From what I garnered, there is a basis and the "facts" Dan Brown mentioned might be true afterall.
There are historians, authors, fanatics and obssesed people around the globe who wrote a lot of stuff about this. They make sense to me at some point. They had a basis.
But a part of me still doesn't want to believe what they are saying. A part of me says that the book and my researches, in all their honesty is still not true. Maybe it's that part of me that wants to believe in Jesus and not what other people say about Him. Maybe it's a part of me that wants to have faith and believe in what Jesus said rather than what others said.
Hey - I'm not saying that Dan Brown's book is a liar. Because at some point, it's not. He had a basis for writing that. He had a basis for claiming that what he wrote (majority of the "facts") are true. Although the story itself is fiction, mind you.
Anyway, this is just my opinion. My point of view. My belief. My faith.
I enjoyed reading the books Dan Brown wrote. I gained some knowledge. I can hardly put the books down actually once I started reading them. I would actually even recommend them. It's a very very good and interesting read!
But after reding every page, every line, every word - I still choose to believe in what Jesus said, in what the Bible said. Regardless of the facts (or rumors) that there are a lot of things that were ommitted in the Bible about Jesus' life.
So there. Just pondering on some thoughts that occured to me just now.

wala lang.
It's a cold cold day today.
It's raining outside. And the aircon is full blast here in the office.
I'm shivering because of the cold.
I can't hardly feel my fingers.
I'm typing this slowly because of that.
Brrrr....
Heat... Need it... Now...
I have no sense of balance today.
Know why?
My ears are blocked. My colds just worsen and it went to my left ear. Meaning I can't hear a thing on my left ear. And as we all know that our ears are one of our bodies' devices for our sense of balance - hence, since my ear is blocked - I have no sense of balance.
Come to think of it, am I actually making any sense at all?
Oh my! Am I losing my sense of logic, too?
NO!
My boss ia asking me to join him tonight for a night of singing at Redbox, greenbelt along with some of my officemates.
How could I say no?
I am not feeling well but this is the second time he asked us to go out. The first time, I said no since I had a party to go to.
But now...
Sigh...
My nose is runny and I can't talk well.
I stick by what I said earlier.
I am sick.
Period.
I am sick.
Period.
I'm eating fruitella lollypop flavored peach and cream with real fruit juice.
I like it. It's a nice thing to eat. ![]()
It's yummy. ![]()
I'm fascinated also with the fact that it has real fruit juice. I'm waiting for it to ooze out of the lollypop.
Any moment now...
...
...
...
Sigh...
Unfortunately, I think there is no real fruit juice in this candy because I'm almost through with it and there is still no fruit juice.
Sigh...
The deceitful people behind the cover of this product is to blame why I wasn't able to taste some of that fruit juice they are saying.
Sad... ![]()
You know what? I'm not feeling well. I shouldnt' have come to the office this morning since I had fever last night and even had a slight one this morning. But here I am, in the office. Trying to work my brains out. Later, I'm really going to get some rest. And sleep... Sleep... Sleep...
