like i said.
Hey. When are you going to
Uh, this Friday night. In time for the long weekend. Why? You wanna join?
I’d love to. But unfortunately, I have work.
Really? You already have work?
Well… Not really. More of like a training. But yeah – I’m starting.
That’s great! Congratulations.
Nah. I’m more of a trainee now than an employee. So it’s really no big deal.
But still – you have a job.
Well, not as good as yours though. You’re an account manager!
Duh. That’s really not a big deal.
Not a big deal?! That’s a great job you know.
Yeah, well. Thanks, I guess. By the way, I haven’t said congrats when you passed the board exams. Congrats.
Thanks.
No problem. Hey, you know what? You’re gaining weight.
Yeah? Think so? Oh well. A lot of people keep on telling me that as well.
It’s noticeable that’s why. You should try badminton. Wanna join our “Saturday Club?”
You play badminton on Saturdays?
Yep. And it helps to tone down your body. Plus it’s fun. Since you get to be with your friends as well.
Hmm… I’ll think about it. That sounds fun.
It is fun! Join us one of this Saturdays. Not this Saturday though, I’ll be in
Okie. Yeah, I have to loosen up these flabs.
You look like you’re a dad with 2 kids already.
Haha! Touche.
Try going to the gym as well. You used to go right?
Yeah… But I lost interest in it.
You just got lazy, that’s what!
Haha! Yeah, actually.
Hey, here’s my ride. Well, I gotta go then.
Ok. Till next week?
I’m not here next week remember?
Oh, yeah right. So till Wednesday then?
Ok, till Wednesday then. Bye!
Right. See you then. Take care all right?
Right. See yah.

I've been hearing a lot of things lately. Not so good things, as a matter of fact. About what you think about me. It infuriates me to think that after all that happened to us, you have the nerve to say such things. I don't want to jump to conclusions though. So I don't want to believe just yet that what I've been hearing is true.
Let's talk, now - shall we? I'd like to sit down and talk about these things that I've been hearing. It's been going on for so long already that I think we need to settle this now, at this moment. Yes, I said now. Even if we sit here for long hours, we have to settle this now. You hear me?
All right. So what has been happening, *****? What are all these crap that I've been hearing about me that people are saying you said? What? You're saying you didn't say these things? So who has been telling them? Tell me.
Ahh... Great. So it isn't you then. What about this? The time you said we're still together and yet there's someone else. Do you deny that? Great. Now you're saying that we were no longer together when she came in the scene. When was that? Oh, so that was just after a week since we last saw each other. And you were still saying you loved me then. Wow. What was I to you then? Huh?! Tell me.
Why can't you speak? Why are you suddenly not talking? Did I hit a nerve? Was what I saying true? Does it hurt? Come to think of it, you've been hurting me for quite some time now.
Stop. The issue here is not you and her. It's you and me, get it? YOU and ME. We have issues to settle. We have to have a closure.
No, you listen to me. You've been talking nonsense for the past hour, let me talk some sense into you.
What?! What did you just say? Great. So I was nothing to you then. Great *****. Just great. Look, I am so trying to move on. But then, I can't. And it's not because I still have something for you but because there's something between us that hasn't been settled. Yes, so don't go thinking I still love you because that was already long forgotten.
I want everything to end formally, *****. Not like what happened to us last year. So this will stop. So I would stop hearing things that's not so good. So this will be settled.
You were better off as just my friend, do you know that? We were so good as friends before everything of these things happened.
What? You're telling me you want us to be friends again? Well... I don't know. Maybe. It's not going to be easy.
Yeah. Maybe we could try. But it would be a long long time before we probably go back to how we were.
Right. It's over. Finally. Thanks.
Last night was one of the most wonderful and worst nights of my life.
How ironic.
I got a close friend of mine back but I have to fight tooth and nail with him before I actually do so.
Good? Or bad?
Was it worth it?
Yeah, I think it is. ![]()
I am trying to cook up some really deep, extraordinary, unique saying that would awe most people who will read it.
Think...
Think...
Think...
Alas!
My mind is not capable to think of such things at the moment.
The other day, I attended a seminar on how to deal with family conflicts, the Christian way. I was with my best friend and some other friends.
Brian was also there. With his own group of friends. I noticed only during the middle of the seminar.
Anyway, so there we were, sitting almost across each other during the seminar (the seminar was informal in a way that our sitting arrangement was in a round way). Listening to the panelists' discussions and debates. It was really interesting. A lot of people can't actually wait for the open forum to begin.
Then it came to the open forum. I was among the first to comment and react on the panel's discussion.
This was exactly what I said:
With regards to family conflicts, I would just like to say that your parents still has the best intentions at heart. Regardless of whatever they say to us kids and even if we think they are wrong, we are right - they still want the best for their kids. When you make wrong decisions, wrong choices, your parents don't cry. They grieve. From their hearts. And I also think that our parents deserve a lot of respect. As they are the ones who brought us into this world. I've gone through a lot and I am speaking from experience wherein I made a lot of wrong choices in my life. But I can really say that my parents were the ones who helped me gather all my strength and courage to do what is right again.
And you know what Brian did? He looked at his friends, shrugged nonchalantly and loudly said, "Well..."
So what is he trying to prove? Why is he affected with what I said? Ha! If I know, he's just guilty. To think that I was speaking in general terms and was not even referring to anything in particular. Especially the one that happened between us. So why react like that?
When he reacted, I didn't do anything and just returned to my seat.
Later on, I found out that he told some of my friends that what I did was unethical. For him, saying what I said to that general public that afternoon was unethical.
WHAT THE?!!!
So, he's not thinking after all. Big duh!
Hay naku, Brian! Gusto mo, imu-mudmod na lang kita sa well. Una ulo. *

* Do you want me to personally put you in a well, head first?
